The RS6 Legacy Edition - a tribute to the V8
Over the past two decades, hardly any vehicle from the Audi brand has embodied power, driving pleasure and sportiness as much as the RS6. For many, the terms V8 and performance are synonymous. Audi had replaced the original ten-cylinder engine with an eight-cylinder engine. This made the vehicle lighter, more economical and the resulting optimisation of the axle load distribution made it a real "corner specialist".
But now the V8 era is also coming to an end. As a tribute to the powerful heart of the 8-cylinder bi-turbo, our engineers have once again put a great deal of passion into the further development of the RS6. The result: the ABT RS6 Legacy Edition - a high-performance sports car with an uncompromising design, limited to 200 vehicles.
The brute power alone that has been unleashed, increasing the standard 630 HP (463 kW)* to 760 HP (559 kW) at up to 980 Nm*, demands proper respect. This increase has been made possible by ABT Power R technology, which includes ABT turbochargers and ABT intercoolers in addition to ABT Engine Control (AEC). ABT intercoolers and adapted air routing of the optimised air intake grilles in the carbon front skirt inserts ensure perfect cooling and thus consistently high performance.

Makes the surroundings fade away
The Legacy Edition is uncompromisingly sporty from front to rear.
The carbon front bonnet insert is a particular highlight, which not only sets visual accents, but also improves heat dissipation of the performance-upgraded V8 engine. Approval of all ABT components is mandatory for each of our vehicles. It also sailed through the legally prescribed head impact tests for pedestrian protection.
Further extensive aerodynamic details made of visible carbon such as the front lip, front skirt inserts with the enlarged air intake grilles, wheel arch ventilation, mirror cap attachments, side skirts, rear skirt insert and the clearly offset rear wing make the ABT RS6-LE stand out in any crowd.
If you want to be seen, you also have to be heard. This is where the ABT stainless steel silencer system with 4 102-mm ABT endpipe trims comes into play, creating a powerful sound.
The perfectly tuned suspension with ABT coilover springs and the ABT anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles ensure optimum road holding. ABT sports suspension is optionally available. The HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged rim in glossy black, specially developed for our very special vehicles, has been equipped with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport 295/30 ZR22.

High-quality materials meet the sporty ABT look
Whether gearshift paddles, switch panel or seat frame trims - the innovative microfibre fabric Dinamica promises the finest feel and first-class appearance. This suede-like fabric is coated with Teflon and is not only pleasant to the touch and classy, but also water-repellent, flame-resistant and extremely robust. Last but not least, the manufacturing process is more environmentally friendly than other materials as it uses less water and also utilises recycled materials.
Our engineers have paid particular attention to the steering wheel. A discreet red 12 o'clock marker shines through the perforated material to emphasise the RS6-LE’s sportiness, while retaining the full sensor system with which the standard steering wheel is equipped.
The door entry lighting elegantly projects the ABT logo onto the ground as you enter the vehicle. The ABT Start-Stop switch cap and the RS6 LE logo on headrests and floor mats, door sill trims and ABT boot mat round off the interior refinement.
myABT App
A very special feature is the myABT app. On selected vehicles such as the RS6 Legacy Edition, advanced functions are available, such as the retrieval of engine-relevant parameters, e.g. additional power or intake air temperature. You also have access to various Charisma settings such as ECO, SPORT or RACE for a requirement-based adjustment of the power characteristics to suit the fuel quality.
But you will also find practical features such as the petrol station finder or the latest information about ABT. The data can be displayed in the MMI via Apple CarPlay.

High performance brought to the road
The HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged rim in glossy black has been specially made for the high-performance sector. It is extremely stable and smooth-running with a particularly low weight.
Sporty front bonnet insert
ABT is committed to safe and legal tuning in every respect. No expense or effort is spared in the process. The carbon bonnet insert has also successfully passed the head impact tests required by law for approval in the area of application of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO).
